Current Social Situation

You know that you're hanging around with one friend too much when other people start thinking the two of you are going out. An item. A couple. Something of that sort. People suggest that me and Fran are the "cutest couple," but really, we're not. No, I'm serious, we really aren't. This I have heard from Brandee. But actually, Franchesca and I are just friends and don't plan on being any more than that. In any case, I must see as to how to rectify this situation, as it may cause... problems in the foreseeable future.
How I would make people not think what they do think is a bit beyond me, as I am not one with the ability to manipulate people. However, I must make this apparent enough so that those who I am interested in do not feel as though I am attached to somone, as this would look bad for me, as well as possibly having negative consequences.
I should make also further attempts to leverage myself into other cliques in order to prevent myself from being stuck in one small group, which was the cause of my severe depression and severance from several good friends last year around this time. Damn my ex and her manipulatory ways. Indeed I have typed too much, and I am not being quite very funny, so alas, I shall post again at a later date/time.
